Sir

I did Receive a very large pacquett from Mr Bernoulli at Groninghen about 6 weeks ago, but a long time after the date of his letters, for they came from thence by a privat hand, who was hindred in his passage, If you have any correspondence with him (as I imagin you may have) pray Give my most hearty service to him and acquaint him that the reason why I have delay'd to answer his Last; was waiting till I shou'd have an opportunity of sending him Mr Newton and [de] Moivre's books, Besides his letters require my time and Consideration, I have not had four hours peacable leisure since I receiv'd 'em, the Necessities of Life and my Employment having taken up all my hours. But I shall delay no longer writing to him. Pray you Sir be so kind as to tell him this how soon you write to him I am

Sir Your most humble Servant Geo. Cheyne
